Building Controls Maker Earns Quality Certification
Data Aire, Inc. is proud to announce that effective October 2018, its business management processes have been elevated to ISO 9001:2015 certification. The company has been audited and registered by Intertek Testing Services NA.
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). A QMS is a set of integrated policies, processes and procedures that ensure an organization’s products and services are reliable and meet their customer’s expectations and regulatory requirements. It is the most popular standard in the ISO 9000 series and the only standard in the series to which organizations can certify.
Data Aire began the internal process of re-certification early in 2018, by comparing existing procedures against the new requirements. Since Data Aire was already certified under the 2008 standards of performance, only minor adjustments were required to the processes in place to meet the new standards.
The certification proves Data Aire’s commitment to running a safe and highly efficient manufacturing facility which is poised to deliver tailored solutions to meet the needs of mission critical and process-intensive industries. “Our systematic approach to Lean Management and our data-driven approach to manufacturing decision-making has enabled us to continually improve our quality management system – all in an effort to provide greater satisfaction and value for our customers,” said Eric Chambers, Quality Assurance Manager at Data Aire.
