Bostik: Adhesive Company Opens 3 Stateside Technical Training Centers

Wauwatosa, Wis. — June 13, 2016 — Bostik, Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of adhesives and sealants, announced that three new full-service, Technical Training facilities have been opened to better serve its growing customer base.

Chad Bulen, a technical services manager for Bostik, said, "Bostik’s high-performance materials are being used by savvy professionals throughout North America every day. These include installation systems for wood floors, ceramic, stone, resilient, and surface-preparation materials. We have made a firm commitment to educate our attendees relative to using our products at optimal levels. This focus ultimately will result with a win-win situation for all involved.”

The new facilities are in Dallas, Texas; Temecula, Calif., and Wauwatosa, Wis.

“All three Technical Training facilities have been set up with full ‘hands-on’ training rooms and cutting-edge classroom environments," Bulen said. "To achieve the best possible back-and-forth communication, we envision both classroom and actual demonstration sessions never having more than 25 attendees. That way, we can keep events more personalized and hands-on. Our ultimate goal is to offer industry partners a better understanding of how to select the very best system for every installation they embark upon.”

Those coming in for training sessions will include flooring contractors, general contractors, distributors, retailers, architects, and designers, he said.

Bostik has annual sales of $1.63 billion, employs 4,800 people, and has a presence in more than 50 countries. Bostik is a company of Arkema.
