Bobrick Washroom Equipment's B-830 SureFlo

Bobrick’s B-830 SureFlo® Soap Dispensing System was engineered for simplicity and sustainability.

The SureFlo system is a unique “Tank-in-a-Box” product that feeds soap into up to five Bobrick dispensers from a single cabinet. As a cost-effective solution for medium to heavy traffic restrooms, one SureFlo tank holds the equivalent of 30 800 ml plastic cartridges and takes less than a minute to change over, reducing servicing time by 80%. Further, one SureFlo carton provides 24,000 dispenses between changeovers compared to standard systems, which typically last 2,000 dispenses or less.

Prior to installing SureFlo in a high-traffic food court restroom at an iconic facility in Seattle, workers were previously required to crawl beneath the counters to replace cartridges, causing physical strain on top of a more complicated changeover. That facility anticipates five-figure soap and labor cost savings in the coming years.

By eliminating plastic cartridges and installing the SureFlo system, facilities not only reduce plastic waste but also reduce residual soap caused by “convenience changeovers”—changing multiple cartridges at once, even though some may not be empty. In fact, SureFlo eliminates virtually all residual waste compared to 800 ml cartridges, which can leave behind up to 544 ml of soap.

In addition to lasting twice as long as standard proprietary cartridges, the SureFlo system also features an indicator light that notifies operators when it’s time to replace the box, as well as a backup reservoir, virtually eliminating changeovers during high-traffic periods and minimizing “out of soap” problems.
