Automated Logic: Company Honors Top-Performing Field Offices at Annual Distribution Meeting

Kennesaw, Ga. — May 10, 2016 — Automated Logic Corporation (ALC), a provider of innovative building automation systems, honored its top performing field offices during their recent distribution meeting in New Orleans.

The annual meeting is attended by management and sales personnel from ALC's branch offices and independent dealer network and includes educational sessions, networking opportunities, and an awards banquet to recognize field offices for outstanding achievement.

ALC is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

At the meeting, more than 70 awards were given to dealers that reached various milestones — service awards for length of time being a dealer with ALC, top sales-growth awards for small, medium and large segments, the Million Dollar Club for dealers that reach $1 million in sales for the year, and Quota Busters for dealers that exceeded their set quota for the year. The most prestigious awards were given for Project of the Year and Dealer of the Year.

Logical Control Solutions (LCS), out of Victor, N.Y., was recognized for Project of the Year. LCS installed ALC’s WebCTRL building automation system to monitor and control all of the heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment in the new Klarman Hall at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. LCS, ALC, and Cornell also worked together to create an innovative lighting control solution that utilized the WebCTRL system. This solution proved to be lower cost and more effective than traditional lighting control solutions.

“All of us at Logical Control Solutions are proud of the relationship we have built with Cornell University over the past 15 years,” said Jim Urbanczyk, CEO, Logical Control Solutions. “The Klarman Hall project was a success because of the collaborative efforts of many individuals throughout the Cornell, ALC, and LCS organizations. In an age of faster, better, cheaper, it’s a true pleasure to do business with an institution that truly appreciates the entire value proposition.”

Automatic Controls Equipment Systems (ACES), in St. Louis, was recognized as Dealer of the Year. It was chosen because of its superior field performance, sustained yearly growth, excellent customer service, and engagement in the community. Since 1978, ACES has become known as a leading building automation, lighting, and energy systems contractor in the St. Louis area, and remains active in the U.S. Green Building Council, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Council, and their local ASHRAE chapter.

“The team at ACES represents everything you’d ever want in a great dealer, having built a culture predicated upon doing the right things, continuous improvement, and taking care of their customers. They are a privilege to work with,” said Drew DePriest, regional sales manager, Automated Logic.
