DynaMax Plus is a structural ceiling grid system that combines the accessibility and flexibility benefits of existing DynaMax grid with greater load carrying capacity. It also provides greater construction efficiency due to the capability of six-foot and eight-foot rod drop spacing compared to typical four-foot spacing. The new grid system offers a structural solution to suspending mid-span loads up to 1,090 pounds at L/360, and up to 1,800 pounds for static point loads. In addition, the system’s increased threaded rod drop spacing reduces installation time and materials and saves money by eliminating up to one half of the threaded rod drops needed for four-foot hanging spans.
