American Institute of Architects Expands Documents-On-Demand Service with 24 New AIA Contract Documents

WASHINGTON -- The American Institute of Architects (AIA) today announced that it has added 31 documents to AIA Documents-on-Demand™, bringing the total number of documents available through this service to 79. This is the largest addition to Documents-on-Demand and includes most of the G Series forms for Contract Administration and Project Management, which are widely-used among contractors. Other documents added to support design and construction projects include documents from the A series for Owner/Contractor, B series for Owner/Architect, C series for Other Agreements and E for Exhibits.

“I have utilized Documents-on-Demand multiple times and have always found the process to be very user-friendly; it is a timely way to receive the latest documents in a cost-effective fashion,” said Bruce Jackson, Architect and Owner, Jackson Associates, Marble Falls, TX. “The most attractive feature of the software, to me, is the fact that I can log-on from home during the middle of the night to purchase documents, if need be.”

AIA Documents-on-Demand is a popular, cost effective, Web-based service that enables both PC and MAC users to easily access, electronically fill out and print the latest AIA Contract Documents anytime and anywhere with access to the Internet and a printer. Over 18,000 documents have been downloaded through Documents-on-Demand, since January 2011.

“The continued success of AIA Documents-on-Demand within the design and construction industry can be attributed in part to the ease and flexibility around accessing documents, as well as the cost-saving benefits,” said Molly Lindblom, Managing Director, AIA Contract Documents. “As we further expand the number of documents offered through this service, we strive to keep our users’ needs top of mind by providing the most relevant and time-saving solutions.”
