Adura Technologies Wireless Lighting Control System

A powerful energy management platform, the Adura system, consists of a full-featured energy dashboard, wireless Light Controllers that are installed within light fixtures, occupancy sensors, daylight sensors and switches. Together, these components can provide personal control, zone control, task tuning, occupancy control, daylight harvesting, scheduling and demand response. The system easily scales from managing a few lights in one building to controlling multiple buildings.

Light Controllers and sensors can be configured via Adura’s web-based software to prioritize and respond to inputs from the sensors. This configuration is then stored locally at the fixture, distributing intelligence and increasing reliability. This distributed intelligence approach ensures the lighting system remains fully functional regardless of network connectivity.

The Adura System uses the widely accepted ZigBee® standard for all wireless communication. Adura products automatically form a self-healing, adaptive mesh network and maintain multiple communication paths for all messages assuring reliable connectivity even in difficult environments.

Adura also provides a new level of flexibility that allows a building’s lighting control system to adapt to changes in building use. Light fixtures can easily be rezoned and reconfigured via software tools as the configuration or uses of the space change. And because it’s wireless, the system is as easy to install in T.I. and retrofit scenarios as it is in new construction. Wireless communication means there’s no need to worry about long cable runs, routing through ceilings, or interfering with existing mechanical systems.
