Acquisition Expands Cushman & Wakefield’s Critical Environments Solutions

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the firm has acquired Irving, Texas-based EnSite Solutions in a transaction that increases Cushman & Wakefield's critical environment services.

EnSite is a leading provider of maintenance and repair for HVAC, generator, UPS and fire protection equipment, offering cost-effective maintenance programs for critical facilities – including data centers, telecommunications and health care facilities.

EnSite founder and President Toby Thomas will serve as Cushman & Wakefield’s Senior Managing Director, Critical Environments, and will be based in Dallas. EnSite Solutions’ employees will join Cushman & Wakefield’s Integrated Facilities Maintenance business and continue to be based in Dallas.

“Adding EnSite Solutions demonstrates Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to growing our Integrated Facilities Management platform.” said Steve Quick, Cushman & Wakefield Chief Executive, Global Occupier Services.

“Strategically, EnSite Solutions’ technology and mission-critical specialists position us to better serve clients across North America with cost-effective maintenance programs for critical facilities – including data centers, telecommunications and health care,” noted Colette Temmink, Executive Managing Director, Integrated Facilities Management.

“There is an immediate benefit as EnSite’s platform enables our clients to access a national network of top-tier partners for HVAC, UPS, Battery, Generator and Fire Suppression services. Longer term, their technology will allow us create a more robust, customized service platform. This is a great fit culturally as both firms have a strong focus on outstanding client service," concluded Quick.

Founded by Thomas in 2009, EnSite Solutions has grown rapidly over the past four years, with appearances in Inc500 in 2013 and Inc5000 in 2014 and 2016. “Joining Cushman & Wakefield opens up a new world of possibilities for our clients – providing them with access to a wide range of expertise and services to support their real estate needs,” said Thomas. “From my perspective, it also provides an opportunity to reach new clients and build deeper relationships as part of this global, full service platform at Cushman & Wakefield.”
