ALL Family of Companies: New Branch Opened in Indianapolis; Branch Expanded in Mobile, Ala.
March 9, 2016 — With one branch expanding and a 38th branch added to the enterprise, the ALL Family of Companies has increased its ability to serve customers and meet the growing needs of two important geographic areas.
The newest branch opened in Indianapolis on Feb. 1, becoming the fourth branch of ALL’s Central Rent-A-Crane division in Indiana, with the other branches in Elkhart, Fort Wayne, and Hammond. (The address of the new branch is: Central Rent-A-Crane, 10443 E. 56th St., Indianapolis, IN 46235. Phone: 1-888-203-4500.)
The new branch will expand Central Rent-A-Crane’s service area, offering more available equipment for the increased rental demand in Central and Southern Indiana. The new location will also allow quicker delivery and quicker response times for job-site crane service to help customers avoid downtime.
“We have been very busy in this part of Indiana, so this new full-service yard puts us where our customers need us most,” said Kevin Hileman, newly appointed Indianapolis branch manager.
The new Indianapolis branch already is home to cranes ranging from 40-ton to 550-ton capacities, but, Hileman said, it’s not just the cranes on site; rather, it is more about increasing regional strength.
Central Rent-A-Crane’s general manager, Ed Kocsis, said he sees the expansion as a big advantage for customers. “With the new Indianapolis location, we’re connecting the dots on our branches,” he said. “We’ll be able to to better respond to the uptick in work requests we’ve received around southern Indiana for the last few years.”
In Mobile, Ala., ALL Crane Rental has moved to a new, larger location 16 miles from its previous yard. (The new address is 4531 Hamilton Blvd., Theodore, AL 36582.) Extensive work was done on the site, a former warehouse, to make it suitable for ALL, including gutting and rebuilding the inside of the warehouse and modernizing the five large drive-through bays where equipment will be serviced.
“With the size and capabilities offered in our new, high-profile location, it is exciting both for those of us at the company and for the whole area,” said Brian Ledford, general manager, ALL Crane of Alabama. “We can now keep a larger inventory of equipment and parts, too.”
The yard has new LED lighting, and a storage building and welding shop are planned. The grounds can also be used as a lay-down yard to store equipment that will be sent to jobs west of Mobile, including Baton Rouge or Texas.
