AFG Group: Firm Awarded 5-Year Contract by National Institute of Standards and Technology


 

Herndon, Va. — Nov. 24, 2015 — AFG Group, Inc. (AFG), a leading construction management (CM) firm, was recently awarded a multiple award, five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Under the IDIQ, AFG will provide construction management services to NIST at Gaithersburg, Md.

AFG was one of three awardees selected to receive CM fees from a combined contract amount of $9.8 million throughout the life of the contract. Construction management task orders are expected to involve all phases of construction. AFG Vice President Ken Reese will be the contract executive managing all tasks from predesign through post construction.
