7x24 Exchange International Appoints CEO





Veteran board member Robert J. Cassiliano has been appointed the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of  7x24 Exchange International, the leading knowledge exchange for those who design, build, operate and maintain mission-critical enterprise information infrastructures, 7x24 Exchange's goal is to improve end-to-end reliability by promoting dialogue among these groups.

As Chairman of 7x24 Exchange for 17 years he has presided over the expansion of the organization’s membership from 16 to the present 575, conference attendance from 38 to 782 and chapter growth from 1 in 1992 to 19 today, as well as the creation and branding of the 7x24 Exchange Magazine, website and other significant organizational milestones.

Cassiliano is considered an industry stakeholder by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  As a recognized leader in the industry he is frequently quoted in the press and is a featured speaker at Mission Critical Industry Conferences and DOE/EPA energy events.

Cassiliano is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Business Information Services ("BIZ"), a technology services and consulting company providing services to clients including Fortune 500 Companies.  Prior to founding BIZ, he held various leadership and technology positions within, Salomon Brothers and IBM.

Cassiliano’s appointment comes as 7x24 Exchange International focuses on the industry’s future and the strategic position 7x24 Exchange International will play in servicing the industry.
