The Elevator Drains prevent water from entering elevator shafts in the event of a fire and the sprinkler system is triggered. Designed to keep the pathway clear for fire safety professionals, while evacuating water at 100 gallons per minute, these new commercial drains are typically positioned in front of the elevator door or elevator bank and comply with SFFC Code, Section 511.1 for a 100 gallon per minute flow rate. They are available in 36-inch, 42-inch and 48-inch kits, two designer finishes, including Satin Stainless and Polished Stainless and have removable grates for accessible cleaning and maintenance.
