Potter Electric Signal Company: CoilKeeper Supervisory Switch

The CoilKeeper Supervisory Switch helps users to improve coil monitoring on preaction and deluge system solenoids on their fire suppression systems. The product observes and reports on the position of a solenoid coil found in most sprinkler systems. When a coil is removed, the device activates a set of contacts that will send a supervisory alert to the releasing control panel, letting maintainers and facility personnel know the system is currently being worked on.
