Electro Industries/GaugeTech (EIG) has announced the release of its newly designed draw out switchboard case for the Nexus® 1272 advanced revenue meter. The new switchboard case is a direct replacement for the existing General Electric Style S1 relay case meters. It has been improved upon and is designed for simpler installation and testing. With a one button cover release, an easy-remove pull paddle, and a draw out meter cradle, the meter is ideal for substation and power plant applications. Its cover is NEMA 4X-rated for use in outdoor enclosures. Wiring follows industry conventions, eliminating the need for new wiring.
