Acme Electric 3 Phase Buck
Acme Electric 3 Phase Buck-Boost Transformers provide a simple and economical way to correct off-standard voltages in a variety of industrial or commercial applications. Acme Electric, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to OEM, industrial and commercial markets.
Acme's 3 Phase Buck-Boost transformer line is designed to provide optimized, economical solutions when a line voltage changes is need in the 5-20% range in 3-phase applications. These models eliminate the need for separate single phase units, each providing a convenient package with a smaller footprint.
These buck-boost autotransformers feature 240 Voltage primary with 208 secondary voltage. Five models cover the most common sizes: 6, 9, 15, 30 or 45kVA. Three additional models cover up to 150kVA. Units are prewired at the factory to save installation time. Type 3R enclosures are standard.
Acme's versatile buck-boost transformer line is perfect for applications including AC motors, Lighting, Pumps, HVAC or control circuits. They improve efficiency by preventing nuisance tripping of breakers, motor failure from overheating, and improving motor torque.
