Chicago Faucets' Emergency Eyewash and Gooseneck Faucet Combination

Chicago Faucets, a manufacturer of commercial faucets, announces a space-saving combination: the 8450 Series, an independently operated emergency eyewash with dual-operated spray heads combined with a fully functional gooseneck faucet. The durable, solid brass, chrome-plated, dual-purpose faucet helps increase safety during an eye emergency and saves space in a variety of deck-mounted locations.

An intuitive, green-and-white push-handle on the faucet is easy to locate and use during an eye emergency, delivering soft and wide water streams at a safe water temperature to both eyes. Yellow, flip-top caps protect the dual-aerated spray heads when not in use and flip off automatically when activated. The eyewash faucet is designed to meet the latest NSF and ANSI standards and to comply with ADA requirements.

The new eyewash/faucet combination features two independent waterways: one activated by the push-handle during eye emergencies and one activated by single- or two-handle operation for everyday use. The independent eyewash supply line offers a 3.3 GPM at 50 PSI flow rate and allows a connection to an ASSE 1071 undercounter thermostatic mixing valve to meet code and provide user safety.

Three versions of the 8450 Series faucet with eyewash are available to accommodate a wide range of applications: a retrofit faucet spout version, a single-handle side-mix version, and a 4” wrist blade handle version, all available with either 2.2 GPM aerated or 1.0 GPM laminar flow.
