Milwaukee Tool's Nitrus Carbide Blades

Milwaukee Tool continues to deliver Sawzall® blade solutions with the introduction of The Torch™ with Nitrus Carbide™ for Cast Iron. Engineered to cut up to 3x longer than existing standard carbide teeth reciprocating saw blades, the new blades can tackle even the toughest applications on the job like cast iron removals.

“When we introduced our Torch™ Carbide Blades in 2018, we disrupted the market and exceeded users’ expectations by delivering unparalleled versatility and life in extreme, thick metal applications,” said John Rossi, Vice President of Linear Edge Accessory Products for Milwaukee Tool. “Now we’re setting the bar once again by introducing Nitrus Carbide™, a unique carbide blend, to our widely popular metal-cutting Torch™ blades, giving them unparalleled speed and life in extreme, thick metal applications.”

The Torch™ with Nitrus Carbide™ blades are the next generation of carbide teeth technology. Constructed with a 7TPI design for fast starts and smooth cuts, large gullets for easy chip ejection, and a unique carbide blend, the Torch™ Blades with Nitrus Carbide™ are designed to last the longest and cut the fastest in cast iron and other thick metals. The combination of these features also enables the new blades to outperform standard carbide teeth blades in common metal applications without sacrificing the life of their blade and with fewer blade changes.

Milwaukee Tool is committed to providing users with accessory solutions that save time and increase productivity on the jobsite. Through their investment in carbide technology, the company continues to lead and drive innovation in the linear edge category by delivering the longest-lasting, most versatile, and fastest-cutting accessories available.
