The Atom Switch by Atom Power


The Atom Switch solid-state circuit breaker utilizes silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors instead of traditional mechanical switches to control the flow of current, allowing users to digitally adjust power sources based on needs. The device is 3,000 times faster than a mechanical breaker and enables circuit interruption capabilities up to 100,000 amps, virtually eliminating arc flash risk, according to the company.
