APV Engineered Coatings' NeverFade Facade Restoration Coatings

NeverFade® Coatings extend the life of architectural exteriors at a much lower cost than replacing building materials or repainting every few years. NeverFade represents a technological breakthrough: a water-based system that is field-applied, user-friendly, and low in VOCs, with the long-term weathering performance needed in harsh environments.

The topcoats are formulated with Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin, a tough engineering thermoplastic with 20 years of performance in extreme UV, thermal and chemical pollution conditions. APV Coatings provides an unprecedented 15-year product and labor warranty on color and chalk performance that is fully transferrable to future building owners.

Using NeverFade Coatings allowed Solano Community College to save $48,000+ on the exterior restoration of its Vallejo Center campus, which had faded from a bright blue to a tired, battleship grey. With this success, they went on to coat the bold blue façade areas at their Vacaville campus.

NeverFade Coatings are low in VOCs and odors, leading to superior tenant satisfaction: an installation project on the Westin Waterside Hotel in Tampa was completed without negative feedback from applicators, occupants and guests. Tenant satisfaction is further assured because the coating is color-matched to the customer's specifications.

Unlike coatings that require spray application, NeverFade can be applied by roller or brush, eliminating the potential for overspray, for improved application productivity.
