TLEDs Target Enhanced Visibility

Espen Technology announced a new line of double-sided sign TLEDs with true 360 degree beam angle. The new double-sided sign lamps are part of the FlexTM DE family of Type B lamps (internal driver, ballast-bypass). The lamps are also double ended input (DE) so they accept input from both ends, for easier installation. Initial inventory for the double-ended sign lamps are expected in late February, 2019.

According to John Clancy, SVP of Sales & Marketing at Espen, “The new 360 degree lamps are perfect for two-sided signs.” Clancy added, “Customers have been requesting these and Espen is one of the first manufacturers to offer them. Espen’s TLED line is truly one of the most comprehensive in the industry.”

The new double-sided sign lamps are available in 4’, 5’, 6’, and 8’ lengths, with light output ranging from 2500 to 5000 lumens per lamp. The new lamps are offered in both 4000K and 6500K CCTs, across all four lengths. Additional notable features include: rotatable end caps, R17d sockets, compatible with controls & sensors, and shatterproof plastic tube. These lamps are UL rated with a 5 year warranty.
