Focal Point continues to improve and expand its Seem family with Seem 4 Recessed Grid and Seem 4 Direct/Indirect. Essential linear luminaires in the architectural lighting manufacturer’s broad Seem portfolio, the 4-inch aperture lights meet the needs of diverse spaces with a coordinated appearance.

Seem 4 Recessed Grid is designed for use in lay-in and tegular grid ceiling styles with flush, regress and pop-down lens options and available in individual units, continuous runs or pattern configurations to provide flexibility in designing for various environments.
Installation and service are made easy with the re-engineered Seem 4 Recessed Grid: simplified joining and alignment, and field adjustable mounting brackets speed up installation while above ceiling driver access allows for easing serviceability. As part of Focal Point’s Quickship program, Seem 4 Recessed Grid answers the needs of quick-turn projects with 10-day shipping.
The value of this cost competitive luminaire reaches more than specifiers and contractors. It also delivers more comfortable environments to building occupants with the options for Connected Solutions and Preferred Light. Connected Solutions enabled luminaires integrate with intelligent building management systems through wired and wireless networks, allowing occupants to control the lighting for maximum comfort and energy savings. Preferred Light uses advanced LED technology to deliver lighting that effectively renders color for human preference, creating more comfortable and visually appealing environments.
Seem 4 Direct/Indirect has been re-designed to coordinate with the existing Seem 4 Direct luminaire - smaller housing height, matching suspension points and 1.5-inch pop-down lens. Offered in suspended and wall mount options in multiple finishes – Black, Titanium Silver, and Matte White, and available in 1-foot increments - Seem 4 Direct/Indirect meets the needs of diverse spaces. The addition of a batwing optic and increased lumen output offering (up to 1250 lm/ft.) allows for increased spacing between luminaires, requiring fewer luminaires.
Both luminaires can be ordered in various lumen outputs and color temperatures providing customization options, making them ideal for commercial projects such as offices, lobbies, corridors, and educational environments.
As with all Seem family luminaires, Seem 4 Recessed Grid and Seem 4 Direct/Indirect are part of the Right Light™ program, with delivered lumen outputs that stay consistent as technology upgrades occur. They also allow for custom programming of wattages and lumen outputs within the standard range to meet lighting power density (LPD) requirements.
