Battery-Powered Grounds Equipment Boosts Versatility

EGO has introduced their high performance, Commercial Series of battery powered outdoor products designed for the lawn care professional.

The new Ego Commercial Series of battery operated outdoor products features a well-designed, comfortable and sturdy backpack system – battery pack and water resistant harness – for comfort during long periods of use. The battery provides the power and performance of gas, without the mess fuss or fumes and operates the Ego Commercial Series 15-inch string trimmer; the 600 CFM Blower and the 25-1/2-inch Hedge Trimmer with a convenient wall-mount storage rack. Available early 2019.

The new commercial series includes:

EGO Commercial Series Battery Pack (BAX1500)

• A 1568WH capacity at 56-volts, with 28Ah (amp hours)
• A cycle life of up to 1200 cycles
• Comes with a Commercial 120-volt charger
• A retractable carrying handle
• An LED Fuel gauge
• Managed air vents to keep the battery cool
• 12-volt and USB charging ports
• A robust cable and plug designed for the toughest conditions
• IP56 weatherproofing
• Weight is 19.8 pounds without the harness
• The harness and battery pack are sold separately.

EGO Commercial Series Battery Pack Harness (AFH1500)

• Well designed
• Comfortable and sturdy during long periods of use
• IP56 weatherproofing

EGO Commercial Series 120-volt charger (CHX5500)

• Rapid-mode charging feature will charge the battery in 210 minutes
• Normal charging takes 420 minutes
• LED charging/diagnostics indicator for constant feedback on battery status and recharge levels IP56 weatherproofing
• Connection method port plug in.

EGO Commercial Series 15-inch string trimmer (STX3800)

• Efficient and powerful brushless motor for longer run times – up to 330 minutes with battery pack
• Durable aluminum motor housing
• “D” handle with safety barrier
• Carbon fiber shaft, which is extremely strong but also very light
• Heavy duty gear box
• Variable speed trigger with lock-off lever
• Uses 0.095 line with a counter-clockwise rotating direction and a manual wind/bump feed head.

600 CFM Blower (LBX6000)

• Efficient and powerful brushless motor for longer run times – up to 350 minutes with battery pack
• Four-level mode selector with boost
• Variable speed trigger
• Easy attachment and detachment of the tube with narrow and cone nozzle that are compatible attachments.
• Maximum air volume is 600 CFM
• Maximum air velocity of 132 mph.

• A hanging hook for storage
• Weight is 5.9 pounds.

EGO Commercial Series 25-1/2-inch Hedge Trimmer (HTX6500)

• An efficient and powerful brushless motor, providing longer run times
• Run time with battery pack is up to 420 minutes
• Laser-cut diamond ground blades
• Metal cutter guard
• Blade tip protector
• Serviceable gearbox
• Cut capacity is 1-1/4-inches with a dual-action double-sided cutting action
• IP56 weatherproofing
• Weight is 8.5 pounds.

Also available is a wall-mount storage rack (AWH1500).

The Ego Commercial Series will be available in the first quarter of 2019.
