LED Lighting and Versatility

Philips Lighting has announced the introduction of a new, tiered portfolio of LED lamps designed to help its professional lighting customers quickly and efficiently identify the best products for any project, application or installation.

For projects that require the quality, efficiency and value of the most preferred lighting brand in the world, Philips Lighting’s LED portfolio is organized into two categories: MasterClass and CorePro. Whether facing project budget constraints or applications that require high-specifications, Philips Lighting can fill the request through this new portfolio of LEDs to deliver uncompromising quality backed by the best-in-class lighting research, know-how, and expertise.

As the global market for LED lighting continues to evolve, the number of products and possibilities to fit existing and new applications grow exponentially. With the introduction of this new tiered portfolio, which characterizes Philips Lighting’s LED products into two ranges—classified by features and budget—the company seeks to simplify the decision-making process for its customers, from distributors and designers to contractors and engineers. Both tiers are underpinned by the Philips Lighting brand as well as the longevity, reliability and warranty that customers have come to expect.

“The rapid pace of innovation and constant expansion of LED lamp variations, form factors, and features can sometimes overwhelm customers with too many options from which to choose,” said Roger Karner, Head of Market US at Philips Lighting. “Our tiered LED product portfolio will make it that much simpler for our customers to identify and obtain the right product for the right application that best meets their needs and project goals.”

This extensive two-tier portfolio will also keep customers briefed on the latest LED technologies and introduce them to innovative products that can deliver energy savings and improved performance aspects. To support and enhance the customer experience, Philips Lighting will also be introducing the latest online product catalogue to provide clarity into technical information and value propositions for both tiers of LED lamps. Further, the landing page will make it easy for customers to compare competitive products and identify technically advanced lamps to meet specific codes and standards.
