Furniture Brass Finishings and Aesthetics

Cumberland Furniture has extended the application of their new polished brass finish to additional tables and benches. Cumberland Furniture manufactures modern American classic designs that are always in style, fresh, and interesting, whether offered last century or today.

“We researched this finish,” says Robert Clark, public relations director for the company. “Because it was exactly right for the precision-cut perforated metal of our Cuff Collection. Designers found it appealing for their projects beyond that product line, so we’ve worked to extend the options.”

In addition to the tables, stool, and ottoman of the Cuff Collection, the polished brass finish is now an option for the Lisa and Venlo Occasional Tables and the X and Cambridge Metal Benches. These product designs all depend for their character on distinctive metal bases, for which the finish and material options have multiplied.

“We know it’s important to designers to have choices to convey the right aesthetic and personality for ever project,” Clark says. “At Cumberland, we keep looking for materials and finishes that can provide an expanded range of options while maintaining our commitment to craftsmanship and quality.”
