LED Fixtures Target Versatility

Shat-R- Shield has launched two new products: the Ironclad Wash Down High Bay and the Mega High Bay.

The Ironclad Wash Down High Bay can replace a 400 HID equivalent. Its sleek and smart design allows water to easily run off the sides, which makes it ideal for high-pressure wash downs. At 200 watts, and with a lumen output of 26,000, it boasts 130 lumens per watt, making it a DLC qualified product. This fixture was made with food manufacturing applications in mind, however, it’s also useful for: chemical facilities, beverage processing, pet-food production, factories, outdoor applications and grain and sugar processing plants.

This NSF wash down fixture is manufactured using aluminum alloy, and with a polycarbonate lens, rather than a glass one, to easily conform to NSF standards. Its smooth body, strong build and intentional lack of screws gives the fixture a IP69K rating; it can be easily hosed-down up to 1500 PSI.

The Ironclad Wash Down High Bay has an ambient temperature rating of -30°C to -50°C, and comes in a 5000K color temperature. Its ratings include: cULus, DLC, NSF, RoHS, IP66 and IP69K. A 5-year limited warranty is offered on this product.

Shat-R- Shield’s Mega High Bay is a fixture unlike anything on the market today. This high-output modular system has nominal lumens ranging from 53,420 to 74,820. It’s ideal for ceiling heights above 40 feet. It has an incredible ROI of less than 2.5 years, and up to 40 percent in energy savings. Additionally, the Mega High Bay has a high ambient temperature rating up to 149°F.

To achieve a high ambient temperature rating, the Mega High Bay utilizes aggressive thermal management; the vented construction of the Mega High Bay allows for optimal heat dissipation, extending the life of the fixtures electronic components in high temperature applications.
