Partnership Aims to Improve Access Control and Security Management

Galaxy Control Systems is adding to its growing list of partners by integrating with Invixium to offer biometric access control solutions. The combination of Galaxy’s System Galaxy access control and security management platform with Invixium’s MERGE, MYCRO, SENSE and TOUCH products will deliver biometric solutions in a variety of configurations to the market at a reduced price point.

“This partnership grew from the demand for this product from our Middle East and African region integrators,” says Rick Caruthers, executive VP with Galaxy Control Systems. “System Galaxy’s integration with Invixium biometric readers will make it possible for integrators to deploy these solutions in a cost-effective manner to clients around the world. Therefore, we have decided to become a global reseller of Invixium products.”

Engineered and designed with the user in mind, Invixium’s IP-enabled biometric solutions feature the latest technology to provide results and enjoyable experiences. By leveraging the best fingerprint sensor technologies on the market including: multispectral imaging, active thermal and high resolution optical, Invixium is able to craft a suite of products with superior performance in ideal indoor applications as well as in rugged harsh outdoor environments. Invixium’s biometric development expertise has also made provisions for sensor interoperability among all three options, allowing the freedom to enroll users on any device with seamless authentication across a mix of products on the same network.

“We have created a cost-effective product portfolio that is easy to integrate with,” says Shiraz Kapadia, CEO and president at Invixium. “This partnership enables us to benefit from the Galaxy sales channel and the integration provides Galaxy integrators the option of expanding their biometric solution offerings with modern, exquisitely designed solutions at a reduced price point.”

System Galaxy, a scalable, enterprise-class access control and management solution, seamlessly integrates security and building management functions. Additional features include active directory support to enable real-time identity management, individualized identity-based door access, and the ability to generate specific reports for each screen view or credential holder. Data can be shared with other systems such as time and attendance, visitor management, time clocks, parking garages and personal messaging. System Galaxy accommodates unlimited users and is also accessible from mobile web browsers, and is designed for backward compatibility with all legacy Galaxy systems.

Galaxy Control Systems will be exhibiting the integration between its System Galaxy software and the Invixium readers at Intersec 2018 in Dubai (January 21-23) in booth #S1-C20.
