Modernfold Inc, Contributes to Hurricane Hurricane Relief

Modernfold, Inc. is acting to assist the many people affected by Hurricane Harvey with a $10,000 contribution to the Rebuild Texas Fund. The Greenfield, Ind. corporation is a manufacturer of movable wall partitions and other products for optimal space utilization.

The fund's website, rebuildtx.org, says Hurricane Harvey, an unprecedented disaster in the state of Texas, "will require an unprecedented effort in recovery." Contributions will be dedicated to helping people, organizations, and businesses recover and rebuild in all impacted communities, the site says.

To support all the Texas communities devastated by the storm, the fund intends to raise $100 million in support of relief and rebuilding efforts. The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is a leading contributor, having committed $36 million to the fund.

"The state of Texas and Modernfold have always had a great relationship," says Bryan Welch, Modernfold's President and Managing Director. "From the architecture and design community to long-standing distributor relationships with the TRW family of companies in the Houston area. To see the devastation from Hurricane Harvey is unsettling. Making a contribution to the effort to rebuild the communities affected by Hurricane Harvey is something that we as a company feel proud to do. We feel a strong obligation to assist our many customers and every Texan affected by the hurricane."

Those interested in contributing to the Rebuild Texas Fund can find details at rebuildtx.org.
