ASSA ABLOY: IN100 Aperio Wireless Locks Now Support Kantech ioProx Credentials

ASSA ABLOY, a manufacturer in door opening solutions, has announced that the IN100 Aperio wireless lock now supports Kantech’s ioProx credentials. Available from ASSA ABLOY Group brands Corbin Russwin and SARGENT, the IN100 will provide Kantech customers an easy, cost-effective way to secure more openings.

Ideal for facilities such as schools or corporate office buildings, the IN100 is designed with ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware and is available in cylindrical lock, mortise lock and exit device configurations. With its unique combination of wireless technology and real-time communication of online access control, the IN100 enables remote lock/unlock in less than 10 seconds. ioProx credentials feature proven, reliable technology and are available in a variety of shapes and materials.

“For Kantech ioProx users, the IN100 provides significant benefits and gives them the opportunity to provide a higher level of security in environments where it isn’t possible or cost effective to hardwire the opening,” says Martin Huddart, President Access and Egress Hardware Group with ASSA ABLOY.

Aperio is a global wireless platform available across a broad range of locking hardware from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, offering the flexibility to address a variety of applications throughout any facility. Aperio technology allows facilities to expand their access control footprint quickly, easily, and affordably. It uses wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and an Aperio hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
