Veritiv Opens Greater Cincinnati Operations Center in Fairfield

Veritiv Corporation (NYSE: VRTV), a leading North American business-to-business distribution solutions company, today announced the opening of its new Greater Cincinnati Operations Center at Gilmore Pointe in Fairfield, OH.  The approximately 72,000 square feet space accommodates more than 400 of Veritiv’s customer service, credit, IT, and finance professionals.

“This new operations center is an important strategic investment for Veritiv, and it aligns with our goal to integrate our operations and strengthen collaboration throughout the company,” said Mary Laschinger, Chairman and CEO for Veritiv. “The Greater Cincinnati area and the City of Fairfield are ideal markets for exceptional talent to support our company’s operations and our customers.  We look forward to contributing to the local economy and community.”

“We are very excited to welcome Veritiv to Fairfield.  The company is a great addition to the Fairfield business community and now ranks among the top ten employers in our city.  We are pleased that Veritiv is maintaining a major presence in the region,” said Steve Miller, Mayor of the City of Fairfield, Ohio.

The Greater Cincinnati area is home to approximately 550 Veritiv employees, including distribution centers in Fairfield and Northern Kentucky.  In total, the company employs more than 600 people in the State of Ohio.

Veritiv partnered with the City of Fairfield Development Services office, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, and the Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati to secure the new location.  The Fairfield property met many of the company’s requirements, including proximity for current employees, opportunity for potential future growth, and access to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
