Bosch Thermotechnology Corp.’s New Greentherm 9900i SER Condensing Tankless Water Heater Gets CES 2017 Innovation Award


Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. announced today that the Consumer Technology Association has honored Bosch with one of its 2017 Innovation Awards1 for the Bosch Greentherm 9900i SER, the premium model in a new line of tankless condensing water heaters: The Bosch Greentherm 9000 Series.

Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories. 

The new lineup, which will be available in early 2017, offers nine models for high-efficiency domestic hot water in residential or commercial applications, adding new features for easy installation, operation and maintenance.

The Greentherm 9000 Series models feature sleek, rounded corners on the metal cabinet, making these water heaters as beautiful as they are economical. The Greentherm 9000 Series models are highly energy-efficient, particularly the 9900i SER model, which features integrated Wi-Fi controls. Indoor units also feature top-mounted water connections allow for easier, faster replacement of tank-type water heaters.

 

The prestigious CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM, the producer of CES 2017, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, and have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976. 

 

These new products will be displayed at CES 2017, which runs January 5-8, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, unique/novel features present and how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace.

Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market.
