Litecontrol Modernizes its Market-Defining MOD x Product Line

Hubbell Lighting  announced that Litecontrol has modernized its market-leading MOD product line, which has set the standard for linear slot lighting, by delivering a full family, cost sensitive solution for general lighting in architectural spaces.Litecontrol established a leadership position in the industry when it developed the original architectural slots three decades ago.

The new MOD x features Litecontrol’s Variable Intensity (“Vi”) Technology, which allows specification of LED light output to meet precise needs. Vi technology also provides verifiable wattage, which is critical for specifiers who are responsible for program, agency, state and local code compliance.

The MOD x will arrive on-site with clear, specific labeling, affording specifiers with the opportunity to calculate wattage based on actual versus the highest possible value. Specifiers can also select output or power, in 50 lumen increments per foot, for desired specifications, a key selling point for a large volume product.

Luminaires with Vi Technology are ideal for hallways, corridors and stairwells in facilities such as schools and offices to meet performance criteria by application.

Additional features include an end cap design that eliminates visible diffuser seams or gaps, with two SDCM (standard deviation color matching) color variation within the fixtures and from fixture-to-fixture.

Additional Features and Benefits of MOD x:

• Fixture apertures of 3″, 4″, 6″

• Fixture lengths of 2′, 3′ , 4′ ,5′ ,6′ ,8′

• Recessed available in 3″ increments

• Pendant, surface, recessed and wall mount available

• Clear, magnetic dust cover attachment

• 10%, 1%, Lutron or DALI diming options

• Emergency Iota CP-Series or compatible with Dual-Lite inverters

• Daylight and occupancy sensors

Litecontrol has also introduced new corner extensions for the MOD x family, featuring a recessed wall mount, corner system connectors, sensor integration, regressed lens and baffle with overlay. This allows architects and designers to create patterns of light that enhance the space, provide visual highlights and augment the aesthetics of the lit interior.
