BlazeMaster: Installation Training for Fire Sprinkler Systems Is Upgraded

April 28, 2016 — BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems consultants, who have been training installers for more than 20 years, are making that training more efficient and more comprehensive. The on-site installation training program has been refreshed for 2016 to give contractors all the information they need while allowing them to get back on the job faster.

The extensive program that will roll out in Q2 of 2016 includes information valuable to new installers and veterans. As part of the training, the modules will cover cutting and joining, listings and approvals, chemical compatibility, health and safety, as well as additional topics.

BlazeMaster reorganized the installation training content to make it more effective, with less repetition. Updated and improved videos will also be an upgrade for anyone who has previously gone through the training.

Participants who complete the BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems installation training will still receive a BlazeMaster card, proof that they’ve received the best possible training in the industry. Additionally, the installation cards give contractors proof to show the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) in their territory.

To make the training as efficient and effective as possible, BlazeMaster hired training experts as consultants to refine the training modules. Among the improvements, each section now has learning objectives which correspond to the questions in the test at the end of each section, making it easier for participants to follow along and retain information. There are also more interactive measures put in place, creating a more “hands-on” atmosphere, while helping participants remain engaged.

Training will be offered in more than 13 languages and is hosted at the contractor’s facility or offsite location to make it easily accessible for those employers interested in making their installers as skilled as possible. About 30 trainers help with training certification for approximately 3,000 people a year. Versions for 18 regions/dialects will be available in 2016 for in-person training: Australia, U.S. English, U.S. Spanish, L.A. Spanish, Dutch, EU English, EU French, EU Spanish, EU Portuguese, L.A. Portuguese, Finnish, German, Middle East, Korean, Swedish, French Canadian, Hindi, and Chinese.

BlazeMaster also will continue to offer online courses for people who need a refresher or are in a remote location. Participants can access the program at www.blazemastertraining.com 24 hours a day. Enrolling is as simple as creating an account. Participants are provided with training modules and can work through each one at their own pace. Additional languages will be instituted soon.

Upon completing the courses and passing the test, participants are issued a BlazeMaster online installation training card. Although on-site training is recommended, the online classes offer users the advantage and convenience of being able to work through the materials at the pace best suited to their experience and knowledge.

The emphasis of BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems on training and education sets it apart from other sprinkler pipe manufacturers. BlazeMaster puts its confidence in installers and wants to give them as much knowledge as possible to make their jobs easier and their time more productive. The installation training is for anyone interested in learning more about BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems, including installers, contractors, engineers and construction managers.
