Planon: Company Leaders to Speak at IFMA 2015 World Workplace Conference in Denver
Boston — Sept., 21 2015 — Planon, the global leader in Integrated Workplace Management Systems, announced that Fred Guelen, Planon’s CFO and president of North American operations, Erik Jaspers, responsible for Planon’s innovation and strategy, and Dave Karpook, one of Planon’s new business consultants, will speak at this year’s IFMA World Workplace Conference.
Guelen will be presenting on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. His talk, titled "Managing Diversity & Change: Experiences From Global IWMS Implementations," will focus on how to effectively unite all stakeholders and prioritize tasks so that tangible business value is returned on a shorter time-scale.
Jaspers will be co-presenting a session on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. titled "BIM for Real Estate & FM: Moving From Theory to Practice." He will delve into important aspects of Facilities Management (FM) practice, including the Building Information Modeling (BIM) deliverable standard, understanding legal and contractual issues, addressing staff skills, and developing a true mindset of building life cycle management.
Karpook is speaking on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. "Big Data Is Coming: Are You Prepared for the Good, the Bad & the Ugly Workplace Implications?" is a session that will open your eyes to the good, the bad, and the potentially ugly implications of big data in the workplace.
