DWM Facilities Maintenance: Company Ranked on Inc. 5000 for Second Consecutive Year
New York City — Aug. 13, 2015 — Inc. magazine has ranked DWM Facilities Maintenance on its 34th annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy — America’s independent entrepreneurs.
“Being honored as a member of the Inc. 5000 two years in a row truly testifies to the superb daily efforts of our staff. When I began DWM nearly 20 years ago, one of our core values was to control growth to insure that servicing existing customers was paramount,” said founder and CEO David Meeks. I am happy to say that our team has been successful, both in maintaining long-term client relationships and growth into new markets.”
One way DWM has maintained its core values is through the expansion of resources, primarily through the addition of qualified employees to the DWM team.
In the three year-span measured for the Inc. awards, DWM added 22 jobs, nearly doubling the number of employees. In addition to adding full-time employees, DWM provided work to thousands of technicians in its International Vendor Network, demonstrating a positive ripple effect on the economy.
The 2015 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 516 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $211 billion, generating 505,000 jobs over the past three years.
DWM, with its headquarters and national call center in Latham, N.Y., was founded by Meeks in 1997. Its facilities maintenance menu of services was born from Meeks’ 18-year facilities career with Amerada Hess (now Hess Corp.). The company delivers a comprehensive platform of general maintenance, handyman, carpet cleaning, project management, remodeling/rollouts, water filtration services, and emergency services.
