Part II of Webinar on Legionella and Construction Set for Feb. 26
Feb. 4, 2015 — In the live webcast “Preventing Legionnaires' Disease in New Buildings: Key Measures During Design and Construction, Part 2,” Matt Freije, a specialist in the disease, will briefly recap the measures for plumbing systems that were discussed in Part 1 on Dec. 10, go over key measures for cooling towers and other equipment, and then take questions from the audience.
The webcast will be 8 to 9 a.m. PST (11 a.m. to noon EST) on Thursday, Feb. 26.
Freije is the author of the book Legionellae Control in Health Care Facilities: A Guide for Minimizing Risk and three new Legionella management plans for hospitals, hotels, and nursing homes. He also is the editor of Legionella Enews, an international newsletter that covers outbreaks and new technology; conducts Legionella building assessments; and serves as an expert in litigation related to Legionnaires' disease.
