MaxLite Expands Assembly and Testing Capabilities with LEED-Certified Building

Anaheim, Calif.– MaxLite, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting solutions, has expanded its U.S. operations with the recent opening of a new LEED-certified facility.

The 48,864-square-foot-building in Anaheim increases MaxLite’s product assembly and testing capabilities and features the company’s first full showroom on the West Coast.

Located in the Anaheim Concourse development at Ocean Circle, the $7.5 million new construction is outfitted entirely with energy-efficient MaxLite LED lighting products.

The building, which was developed by Panattoni Construction Company, received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for following best-in-class green building strategies and practices.

“The expansion of our West Coast assembly operations and testing facilities marks the beginning of an exciting chapter of growth for MaxLite,” said president and CEO Yon Sung. “Our new Anaheim building and its capabilities will play a key role in strengthening MaxLite’s position as one of the easiest companies to work with in the industry. Achieving LEED certification further supports our company’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.”

MaxLite chose the new construction in response to increased product demand and a pledge to offer the highest level of product testing and quality assurance. By moving from its previous home in Rancho Cucamonga, MaxLite is able to operate three full product assembly lines, enabling the company to get products into the hands of its customers quicker than ever before. The additional warehouse space also allows the company to stack and move product more efficiently, streamlining the picking process.
