Litetronics International Doubles Plant, Office Sizes with Move to New Building


 

Harvey, Ill. — Nov. 18, 2014 — Litetronics International, Inc., a 45-year innovative manufacturer and marketer of advanced-design, energy-saving light sources for commercial, institutional, and residential interior and outdoor applications,announced that its largest single expansion in company history is now completed.

The announcement was made by Robert C. Sorensen, the company's founder, president, and CEO.

The new building purchased by Litetronics is effectively double the size of the company’s previous facility in Alsip, Ill., which it occupied for 38 years. Its new headquarters plant and offices are now directly off Interstate 294 in Harvey, at 235 E. 171st St.

All Litetronics manufactured product lines, headquarters staff, and customer services are in the new building.

Litetronics helped popularize ultra-energy-saving, long-life, screw-base LED light bulbs.
