LITON Lighting Wins 2014 Lighting for Tomorrow Award

Nashville, Tenn. – LITON Lighting was awarded the 2014 Lighting for Tomorrow Award for Directional Lighting at the American Lighting Association Conference here on Sept. 16.

Earning the award was LITON’s 100Lm/W 6-inch Super-Efficient Architectural Recessed Downlight. Chosen from a field of 70 LED products, the super-efficient downlight impressed judges with its industry-leading efficiency and incandescent-like performance.

With only 12W consumed and 1,200 lumens delivered, the Super-Efficient LITON Recessed Downlight qualifies for any LEED project and most energy rebate programs.

Judges' comments such as "Stood out from others," "Pay less for more with this fixture," "Beautiful performance," "Very good efficacy," and "Very well done" are testimony to the quality and performance of this powerful new LED product.

Lighting for Tomorrow is a design competition that, since 2002, has challenged manufacturers to constantly improve their products and technologies, while achieving new heights of energy efficiency.
LITON Lighting, a division of EEMA Lighting Group, manufactures high-quality, award-winning LED lighting, including recessed and surface-mounted fixtures, directional and track lighting, undercabinet and step lights, and emergency lighting.
