MaxLite Launches Versatile StaxMAX LED Flood Lights

West Caldwell, New Jersey – Designed and engineered for diverse general area, architectural and security illumination in public and commercial spaces, MaxLite® launches the versatile StaxMAX LED Flood Lights, which feature self-contained modular elements with variability in lumen output and optics capabilities. Certified by DesignLights Consortium® (DLC), the LED Flood Lights replace 250- to 1,200-watt metal halide fixtures for a multitude of applications including car dealerships, golf driving ranges, sports parks and tennis courts, parking lots, facades, flag poles, billboards, marine harbors and other outdoor spaces.

“StaxMAX LED Flood Lights offer the ideal, energy-efficient replacements for metal halide fixtures and qualify for significant utility rebates,” said Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering Pat Treadway. “These highly versatile, high powered DLC-qualified fixtures can be custom ordered in diverse configuration and optic packages and are compatible with leading industry controls and sensors for additional energy savings.”

The modular housing design can be specified in one-, two- or three- 135-watt module configurations, where each module can be specified at a 22-, 55- or 120-degree beam angle; this allows users to have all three beam angles in a single 405-watt fixture, if needed. Custom configurations can be created by mixing modules on a single fixture, allowing users to create distributions not obtainable with other flood lights.

MaxLite’s chassis yoke mount offers a 270-degree pivot plate that enables the most precise aiming from each individual module. The stackable modularity and variable mounting options allow this fixture to be used for multiple applications, including high bay, high mast and wall wash.

Available in a 5000K correlated color temperature (CCT), StaxMAX models are constructed with a die cast aluminum body that acts a heat sink running across the module length, with stainless steel bushings and adjustment protector plates. A tempered glass lens seals the module to protect against dirt, dust and water ingress to an IP65 rating while the fixture is engineered to operate at temperatures ranging from 22°F to 122°F.

A discreet J-Box enables easy installation and modular repair in the field. The fixtures, available in a durable gray powder coat finish, offer a power factor of 99 percent and operate on universal 120- to 277-volt electrical systems, but can be special ordered for 347- and 480-volt systems. Multiple circuits, engineered on each luminaire, guard against full-module light outage and dark field or lot. An optional photo control receptacle is available.

MaxLite’s other DLC-qualified LED products include RKT Retrofit Kits, Floods and High Output Floods, Area Lights, High Mount Area Lights, Parking Garage Canopy Luminaires and Full Cutoff Wall Packs.
