Larson Electronics Aluminum Body LED Work Light Provides High Output And Cool Operation

Larson Electronics has announced the release of a two foot long hazardous location LED work light that provides better performance and reliability than standard incandescent and fluorescent work lights. The EPL-FL1524-LED-120X12-C1D2-50 Hazardous Area LED Work Light is a superior alternative to standard work lights and combines the high power and cool operation of LEDs with low voltage 12 volt operation. The EPL-FL1524-LED-120X12-C1D2-50 hazardous area LED work light from Larson Electronics provides operators with a far more durable and reliable high performance alternative to standard incandescent and fluorescent work lights. This LED drop light is designed similarly to a standard fluorescent drop light, but offers greatly improved performance and durability through the inclusion of a 15 watt LED tube lamp instead of the usual fragile fluorescent tube. This light produces more light output than a standard 100 watt incandescent drop light, has no glass to shatter or break, has no filament, and runs only slightly warm to the touch. With this LED work light the issues associated with accidental burns and lamp failures from dropping and impacts are eliminated. This light produces 1,450 lumens of clean white light output from only 15 watts of power consumption, making it far more efficient than most other types of work light. The LED tube lamp is fitted within a non sparking aluminum housing with molded rubber bumpers and an annealed protective glass lens, giving this lamp exceptional durability. Combined with the extreme 50,000 hour long lifespan of the LED lamp, this durability and longevity makes this LED work light far more reliable than standard work lights. Larson Electronics also includes a Class 1 Division 2 inline transformer that steps down standard 120 VAC input voltage to 12V. This transformer is IP67 rated waterproof and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The transformer also includes built in short circuit and overload protection for added safety. Finally, 50 feet of SOOW cord fitted with an EPP-15A 15 amp explosion proof plug rounds out the package and provides ample length for moving about the work space. This explosion proof LED drop light is certified for Class 1, Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1, and Class 3 hazardous locations and is ideal for operators who need a low voltage work light capable of providing exceptional light output as well as excellent reliability. “The EPL-FL1524-LED-120X12-C1D2-50 is the newest addition to our group of drop lights. This explosion proof trouble light gives operators the ability to step down 120/277 to 12VDC or 24VDC via the inline C1D2 transformer to provide low voltage where required,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ LarsonElectronics.com. “This Class 1 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof hand light produces a much sharper whiter light than that produced by incandescent lamps. This handheld LED lamp is well suited to close work and inspection activities where good contrast and true color representation is needed.” Larson Electronics produces a wide range of intrinsically safe LED lights, explosion proof LED work lights, portable LED lights, explosion proof flashlights and LED trouble lights.
