KI Introduces New Connection Zone Collection

CHICAGO – KI introduces the Connection Zone™ Collection, which addresses the human element of workspace and how the right “zones” foster improved performance. Focus zones, retreat zones, social zones, ideation zones and storage zones are all key areas with discrete needs that are met with Connection Zone.

KI’s Connection Zone includes teaming tables with privacy dividers, group project areas, seating areas that promote interaction while allowing for personal work-style preferences, privacy booths to tune out distractions, assigned and unassigned storage space and mobile work boards for information capture and impromptu space division.

“Being productive requires a balance of time to complete tasks and time to connect with peers to interact and learn,” said Shawn Green, vice president, design and product marketing, KI. “KI’s Connection Zone features all of the elements needed to achieve both with forward-thinking design and a minimal scale.”

Each element of Connection Zone was selected for its ability to support multitasking. Benches can be expanded or contracted. Mobile marker board dividers provide a space for idea collection and sharing. Team storage provides a space for personal items.

The Connection Zone collection continues the tradition of quality established with KI’s Unite, and the long history of durability for which KI is known. Steel powdercoated components ensure product longevity while high-pressure laminate worksurfaces ensure balanced construction.

The Connection Zone collection has been designed with sustainability in mind.  While varying by style, all components within the collection allow for easy segregation of materials for post-use recycling.

KI manufactures innovative furniture and moveable wall system solutions for education, healthcare, government and corporate markets. The employee-owned company is headquartered in Green Bay, Wis. and operates sales offices and manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
