Innovative compact, multiple-band antennas inside help SpiderCloud Radio Node (SCRN) deliver differentiated performance
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – – Galtronics Corporation Ltd. has announced that the company’s innovative antenna solutions deliver the RF performance for SpiderCloud’s CTIA E-Tech 2013 award-winning scalable small cell systems. SpiderCloud’s SCRN (SpiderCloud Radio Node) with Galtronics antennas inside placed first in the “Network for Infrastructure–In-Building Network” category at the recent eighth annual E-Tech awards ceremony in Las Vegas. The E-Tech Awards honor the industry’s most innovative new wireless products and services in mobile apps, consumer electronics, enterprise and vertical markets, and network technology.

"SpiderCloud chose Galtronics for embedded antennas inside the Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN) radio nodes of the scalable small cell system,” said Galtronics CEO Ephraim Ulmer. "By embedding Galtronics’ patented UMTS, LTE and WiFi antenna technology within the radio nodes, SpiderCloud offers improved voice and data coverage.”

E-Tech award submissions were judged on innovation, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall “wow” factor. Online judging for the awards categories was conducted by a panel of highly-respected industry experts, reporters and analysts.
