Johnsonite Offers Style and Safety with New MicroTone Speckled Rubber Tile

When it comes to commercial flooring, rubber tile offers important durability, comfort, life-safety and life-cycle benefits.  With the introduction of new MicroTone™ Speckled Rubber Tile, Johnsonite®, the commercial arm of Tarkett and provider of the world’s most integrated high-performance flooring systems, incorporates all these traditional benefits of rubber flooring with an updated style offering to meet nearly any design need.
New MicroTone Speckled Rubber Tile offers 82 dynamic colorways to harmonize with most any color palette – from soft and neutral to exciting and bold.  The large, 24-inch square tiles are available in both 1/8-inch and .080-inch” [2 mm] thicknesses in 12 different textures -  such as Hammered, Bamboo or Raised Round - to suit a variety of functional and design needs.
All MicroTone tiles feature three accent microchips in each tile for enhanced aesthetics. For those interested in custom colorways, Johnsonite has the ability to customize each tile by incorporating more or fewer chips and/or using a variety of colors to reflect your personal needs.
In addition to the unique style, MicroTone Rubber Tiles offer high-end functionality and are naturally slip-resistant.  Rubber tiles help to reduce the risk of expensive slips and falls, and the resultant physical and financial costs that can ensue.  Plus, the soft nature of the rubber material offers underfoot comfort that makes it a great choice for many types of applications, including busy classrooms, office corridors, retail spaces and more.
MicroTone is also an environmentally responsible solution. It’s FloorScore Certified and carries an NSF Gold Certification. Requiring no waxing or finishing chemicals, MicroTone helps keep pollutants from entering waste streams.
MicroTone, along with all Johnsonite traditional solutions, is part of an integrated system with matching or coordinated finishing borders, transitions, chair rails and stairwell components to make specifying and creating a coordinated look simple.
