Cooper B-Line Offers Galvanized Steel Option for Popular ARISTA Monolithic Rooftop Solar Racking System

Flexible racking system for commercial rooftops reduces installation time and cost, and accommodates virtually any solar PV panel and building need

HIGHLAND, Ill. – Cooper B-Line, a global provider of innovative, labor-saving support systems and enclosure solutions for engineered facility subsystem applications, has expanded its versatileARISTATM Monolithic Rooftop Racking System for solar photovoltaic (PV) commercial rooftop applications to include G90 galvanized finish. In addition to several key advantages, the newest enhancement to the award-winning solution provides an additional labor-saving material option, with the added benefit of increased support spans and a quick, cost-effective installation.

Designed to provide the lowest total cost of installation, ARISTA racking systems are highly flexible to support both portrait and landscape orientation options. Each system is designed with limited components and features pre-assembled fittings, yielding significant installation savings over other PV mounted systems. Additionally, all ARISTA racking systems are compliant to building codes in both the US and Canada and have received structural validation through a certified third party wind tunnel test.

“Our ARISTA Monolithic Racking Systems maintain consistency with our promise of providing end-users with innovative solutions to provide the installer with the lowest total cost of installation,” said Daniel Castillo, President of Cooper B-Line. “The addition of a galvanized steel option means that end-users can enjoy all of the impressive features of the ARISTA system with the ability to select the optimal material for their project requirements. It’s just one more way we are helping our customers boost productivity and reduce total cost of installation.”

Compatible with standard strut, fittings and other accessories, ARISTA systems are highly adaptable to project design and layout requirements. For added flexibility, all systems can be configured for either portrait or landscape mounting to accommodate virtually any PV panel size.  With pre-assembled components and a minimal part count, the ARISTA systems feature a 3 kW per man hour installation rate.

Cooper B-Line’s unique DURA-BLOK™ supports, made from 100 percent recycled rubber, serve as the base for the ARISTA racking system.  The ballast strip for the ARISTA system is pre-assembled, easy to install and compatible with many ballast alternatives.  The monolithic design of the ARISTA system helps distribute system loading evenly across the roof on ballasted solutions.  Positive attachments are also available for applications where roof connections are required.

Cooper B-Line offers a complete Balance of System (BOS) solution with wide-ranging components to seamlessly combine PV panel mounting, wire management, enclosures and fasteners to maximize efficiency and technologies. Cooper B-Line’s dedicated team of solar experts offers superior engineering support to customers through all phases of the design and installation process – before, during and after installation of the ARISTA Racking System. The team has the knowledge needed to quickly offer solutions through standard product applications as well as custom solutions for specific solar needs.
