New Matting Introduced to Help Reduce Dangerous Slips and Falls in Refrigerators and Freezers

Ft. Payne, Ala. -- U.S. flooring solutions manufacturer Plastex Matting Inc. has
developed a specialized mat designed to create safe walking conditions in walk-in
refrigerators and freezers, helping to eliminate dangerous and potentially costly slips
and falls on icy or wet floors.

Vynagrip™ is made of non-porous, flexible PVC welded into a tough, self-draining
grid format. Extremely hard-wearing and resistant to oils, chemicals and low
temperatures, the matting is ideal for all types of working environments, both wet
and dry, where safety underfoot is essential. The open grid design helps to dissipate
liquids, ice and other debris while the aggressive slip resistant diamond tread surface
provides excellent traction, thereby reducing slips and falls.

Available in 2’, 3’ and 4’ widths and in lengths up to 40’, 5/8th thick Vynagrip can be
cut and shaped to fit any area. It can be easily rolled up to clean beneath and requires
no specialized cleaning solutions. The matting is made from a minimum of 30%
recycled material and is available with an OSHA yellow border to highlight edges and
designate walkways.

Vynagrip, manufactured in the U.S. and the U.K. by Plastex Matting Inc, is helping
to reduce the danger of slips and falls in over 52 countries, from as far south as
Antarctica, to the heights of the mountainous Alps in Switzerland.
