GreenWizard Introduces Public Search of Product Information

CHARLESTON, S.C. -– GreenWizard, a web-based solution designed to simplify building material selection, announces it is publically providing a green product search service to foster product transparency for anyone interested in building green.  Found at www.GreenWizard.com/wizard/publicsearch, any visitor can search the 1000+ manufacturers and a 120,000+ product database by keyword or Master Format Number to return a list of products and associated data supplied by manufacturers, all of whom can participate in GreenWizard’s database for free.

Search results list products with associated green attributes, such as percentages of pre-consumer recycled content, post-consumer recycled content, rapidly renewable ratings, and even product VOC levels, where applicable.

“We have developed a robust and dynamic one-stop resource for evaluating multiple products and corresponding product attributes in an efficient and effective manner,” said Adam Bernholz, GreenWizard’s founder and CEO. “We wanted to offer a simple-to-use version of GreenWizard to the public at no charge, so everyone can have access to the same products that top professionals are reviewing.”

For those looking to do more, GreenWizard offers paid-for subscriptions that allow customers to:

Create and manage their products in an interactive and searchable digital Library

View more detailed results, such as third-party certifications and regional materials relevant to a project, to better evaluate and manage products

Initiate communication with a participating manufacturer

Model and optimize product selection against project’s green goals

Simplify the submittal process by increasing document access in a central location and reducing the need for back and forth communications.
