D&D Technologies is recalling a series of gate hinge-closers used on some types of security gates and fencing. The hydraulic hinge-closers can malfunction and cause gates to not close fully, leading to potential unintended access to secure areas.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice, the gate hinge-closers are part of the SureClose 180° READYFIT series, models numbers 74108333T and 74108335T.
Facility managers should immediately secure the areas where the gate hinge-closers are used and request a replacement at the manufacturer’s website.
