Solar Panels Recalled Due to Risk of Fire Hazard

Roof-Mounted Bosch Photovoltaic Solar Modules have been recalled because the solar panels can overheat, posing a fire risk. The recall involves 28,000 units of model c-Si M 60 NA30119. Each module measures approximately 65 inches by 39 inches by 1.65 inches, with a peak output of 245 watts.

No incidents have been reported in relation to this recall, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall number 17-736.

Facility manager potentially impacted by this recall are being directed to contact the installer of their system to see if they are affected. If so, the company will provide free replacements. Bosch can be reached at 855-866-8470, boschsolar@us.bosch, or www.bosch-solarenergy.com.
