Damaged Electrical Equipment: Repair or Replace?

The National Fire Protection Association has published a new checklist designed to help electricians make critical decisions about whether or not electrical equipment damaged in natural disasters can be salvaged. The checklist includes: a list of disaster scenarios that can inflict damage of varying degrees to facilities; steps for assessing equipment; a priority assessment table; and steps to help identify factors for replacement or repair.
