NEMA Publishes Motors and Generators Standards

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published three standards in its MG series: NEMA MG 2-2014 Safety Standard for Construction and Guide for Selection, Installation and Use of Electric Motors and Generators; NEMA MG 3-1974 (R1995, R2000, R2006, R2012) Sound Level Prediction for Installed Rotating Electrical Machines; and NEMA MG 10-2013 Energy Management Guide for Selection and Use of Fixed Frequency Medium AC Squirrel-Cage Polyphase Induction Motors.
